The Keep of Alderweg

History of the Keep:

The keep known as Alderweg was originally home to the Doggsworth family, but was lost to gnolls of the Pomarj sometime in the Hateful Wars. In 593 CY it was recovered by the Four Points Company during their campaign against the fell beasts of the Suss.

LadySavannah currently rules the keep and the burgeoning town.

Notable Locations

The Broken Blade - A large ale house and inn found at the small docks along the riverbank. Hague owns the building and small landholding it sits upon. He pays a seasonal tax to Lady Savannah for the privelige of operating the business, though he personally spends all his time at the Keep serving as the Seneschal of Alderweg Keep.

Mill House - Finished in the spring of 597cy, this business is a primary source of income and also the largest mill found south of Courwood. A trade agreement with Vel Turen provides the gnomes with access to the mill in exchange for a commitment to share in a common defense of the region.

Ganter's Ferry - This major river crossing generates income for the town while also providing access across the river for the fledgling logging community that pays tribute to the keep. The Suss Rangers are given free access to the crossing in exchange for information they can provide about the happenings within the deeper forest.
