Merysa, Maiden of the Twilight Towers
A beautiful half-elf dancer who came to Dyvers just over four years ago to lose herself in the crowd. Over her brief stay here she has served briefly as a concubine to Elred Phawz, been very close to the Second Master of the Watch, acted as understudy to the lead in the play Springtime Interludes, and of course done a good bit of street entertaining to help supply coin between more stable opportunities. Most find her soft eyes and entrancing figure to be a place where trust can be given, those who know her best are harshly aware of the fact she can be a cold and calculating criminal when she needs to be and isn't above a little self-inflicted pain if it can by an accomplice a moment's more time.
Merysa is talkative gossip about all current events and people of popular interest, she seldom talks of her past and has never mentioned anything farther back than five years ago. What drives many would-be suitors and ladies of interest into frustration is that while she uses the odd title of "Maiden of the Twilight Towers" she has never offered a proper explanation for what the Twilight Towers actually are. The only clue ever given about this came from a pair of drunken adventurers passing through on one of their hair-brained endeavors who claimed that the Towers refered to are at the center of a small and very insular petty fiefdom found somewhere along the central region of the Wild Coast. For her part she advises caution against putting too much faith in the brandy induced ramblings of unfortunate fools.
