Mephit Mail

It was a work of art. Crafted from links of ice forged from one of the most impressive alchemical mixtures seen to date. At least for those who specialized in the studies of ice. the concoction was strange to say the least. Waters taken from a virgin stream bubbling our of a sprite's domain mixed with crystalized ice from the para-elemental plane of the same name and infused with the extract of refined adamantine made the base substance. Then there was simply the act of cutting and replication, simple to say the least.

Work the multiplying compound into hundreds of small chain scales and rings the custom fit them to allow ultimate mobility. Now combine the protective enchantments given freely by a dwarven war-wizard and you have a suit of scale lightened by its otherworldly qualities yet constantly cool to the touch. The ice mephit would regenerate as long as it was in contact and the bonus of protections allow the smal impressive creature to survive battles that would surely take her down. This suit would do her well.

Far away a cold wind blew over ice black as midnight. A dark eye watched all things of frost. The secret to that armor would serve him well. Words were soon exchanged and an elf with skin paler than the moon itself took flight on wings of magic. He had an offer for a gnome and he couldn't be late.
