The Blight Blade

This +1 scimitar is made of Gehennan Morghuth Iron. (-1 to attack and damge, but anyone hit must make a Fortitude save (dc12) or take 1 point of temporary Dex damage initially, 1d4 secondary.) The sword also has the Bloodfeeding ability. (Every time the sword does damage, it adds 1 to the Blood Pool.) At any time, the wielder may spend points from the pool to do extra damage at a ratio of 5 Blood Points for each additional point of damage.)

The Blight Blade appears to have once been a fine, valuable weapon, but it is now tarnished, pitted, and rusted.
